Zeal Lifestyle — Returns, 30-Day Home Trial & Warranty Policy

Part 1 — Returns & 30-Day Home Trial


1. Our 30-day home trial

Your Zeal walker arrives fully assembled and ready to use straight out of the box. We offer a 30-day home trial from the date of delivery so you can assess whether Zeal is right for you. If it isn't suitable, you may return it in accordance with the terms below.


2. Trial use

During the 30-day period, you may use the walker indoors, adjust the handle height, and assess comfort, stability and suitability.

The home trial is intended for indoor use only. Please keep the walker clean and in good indoor condition during the trial period. Returns are assessed against reasonable testing expected in a home environment and the trial is not intended for extended daily use.


3. Your right to return

You must notify us within 30 days of delivery to initiate a return. Under UK consumer law, you may handle goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and function. If the product shows signs of use beyond what is necessary for this purpose, we may make a reasonable deduction to reflect any loss in value. We always assess returns fairly and will contact you before applying any significant deduction.


4. Return condition

The walker should be returned clean, complete and in excellent condition. We understand that careful indoor testing may result in very light contact marks on the tyres. Aside from this minimal indoor wear, the frame, seat, handles and accessories should remain in near-new condition.

We may make a reasonable deduction from the refund where:

  • There is significant tyre wear or any outdoor contamination
  • There are scratches, dents or structural damage
  • The seat or handles show marks or staining
  • Parts or accessories are missing
  • The condition exceeds what would be expected from reasonable indoor handling
  • The walker is damaged in transit due to inadequate packaging

5. Return shipping

If you are returning the walker due to a change of mind during the 30-day home trial, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. You remain responsible for the walker until it is safely received and inspected by us. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service.

If the return is due to a confirmed manufacturing defect or incorrect item, we will arrange and cover return shipping.


6. Packaging requirements

The Zeal walker must be returned in its original Zeal packaging. As the walker is delivered fully assembled and specially protected for transit, you should retain the original box and protective materials during the 30-day trial period.

If the original packaging has been discarded, you must contact us to purchase a replacement Zeal return box before arranging the return. Returns sent in unsuitable or improvised packaging are at the customer's risk. If the walker is damaged in transit due to inadequate packaging, we may make a reasonable deduction from the refund to reflect the resulting loss in value.


7. Before you return

Before shipping your return, we recommend taking clear photos of the frame, both sets of wheels, the seat and the packaging. This helps protect you in the unlikely event of transit damage and supports faster processing.


8. How to start a return

Email hello@zeal-lifestyle.com with your order number and a brief explanation of the reason for return. We will provide return instructions and the return address.


9. Refund timing

Once the walker is received and inspected, we aim to complete inspection within 3–5 working days. Refunds are then processed within 5–10 working days depending on your payment provider. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.


10. Damaged or incorrect orders

If your walker arrives damaged or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs so we can resolve the issue promptly.


Part 2 — Warranty


11. Lifetime frame warranty

The Zeal frame is covered by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects under normal domestic use by the original purchaser. If a defect arises in the frame structure, we will repair or replace the affected component at our discretion and at no cost to you.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.


12. 24-month component cover

The following components are covered against manufacturing defects for 24 months from the date of delivery:

  • Handles and height adjustment mechanism
  • Brakes and brake cables
  • Seat and seat fixings
  • Backrest and backrest fittings
  • Structural fittings and folding mechanism

Where a valid defect is identified within this period, we will repair or replace the affected component at our discretion and at no cost to you.


13. Repair-first approach

Zeal is designed to be maintained, not replaced. Wherever possible, our Zeal-trained technicians will repair or replace individual parts to keep your walker performing at its best. Full replacement of the product will only be offered where a repair is not feasible.

All warranty repairs and adjustments must be carried out by a Zeal-approved technician. Repairs or adjustments carried out by an unauthorised third party will void your warranty.


14. What's not covered

The following are excluded from warranty cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, including tyres, brake cables, grips and cosmetic scuffs
  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents or improper assembly
  • Damage resulting from unauthorised repairs or modifications
  • The storage bag and soft accessories
  • Products purchased second-hand or from an unauthorised reseller

Zeal Lifestyle Ltd is not responsible for injury, damage or product failure resulting from unauthorised repairs, modifications or improper assembly.


15. How to make a warranty claim

To make a warranty claim, please contact us at hello@zeal-lifestyle.com with the following:

  • Your full name and order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the fault

We aim to respond to all warranty enquiries within 3 working days. Once a valid claim is confirmed, we will advise on next steps, which may include returning the product or individual components for inspection or repair. Return shipping costs for valid warranty claims will be covered by Zeal Lifestyle Ltd.


16. Proof of purchase

Your warranty is linked to your original order. We recommend retaining your order confirmation email for the lifetime of the product. We reserve the right to request proof of purchase before processing any warranty claim.


17. Third-party purchases

If your Zeal was purchased through an authorised retailer, please contact them directly in the first instance. Warranty terms may vary by retailer. Zeal Lifestyle Ltd does not accept warranty claims for products purchased through unauthorised resellers.


18. Safety notice

For safety and compliance, critical repairs and adjustments must always be carried out by a Zeal-approved technician. Zeal Lifestyle Ltd accepts no liability for injury, loss or damage arising from repairs, modifications or adjustments made by an unauthorised party.


19. Your statutory rights

This policy is offered in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
